The 16th Street corridor in Washington DC is the dividing line between the haves and the have mores. Homes west of 16th Street NW in Washington DC are considered “Gold Coast” homes. It is the local nickname for this area.
The luxury real estate market is even hotter than normal due to the millionaires and billionaires of the new Trump administration moving to town! Secretary of State and Former CEO of Exxon Mobil, Rex Tillerson, purchased a $5.6 million dollar home in the Kalorama neighborhood. Of course, Kalorama is west of 16th Street NW!
